Sprint Introduces Kyocera DuraCore In Its Phone Lineup

As far as basic phone today goes, it may not be able to compete with the newer and better smartphones in terms of rich features. But there are still quite a lot of people that yearn for the simplicity of a basic feature phone. There is still a market for them especially for the older population as well as for use in a tough and rugged workplace. That is why Sprint is making the Kyocera DuraCore mobile phone available for its interested subscribers.

The Kyocera DuraCore is a clamshell type CDMA mobile phone armed with the Sprint Direct Connect feature which allows instant communication between groups of people. It also provides Bluetooth support, has a 2.0 inch QVGA TFT display and a battery that lasts for more than 8 hours of talk time.

But what probably will make the Kyocera DuraCore appealing is that it was designed to handle abuse. It rates with the 810G military standard when it comes to dust, shock, and vibration.
